Castle Steinburg
The EuroView 2012 social event will take place at Schlosshotel Steinburg (Castle Steinburg) located in the middle of the "Würzburger Stein" wine yards. From there, you have a beautiful view on the entire city of Würzburg.
How to get there?
To reach Castle Steinburg we offer two possibilities. You can decide to either take a bus organized for the EuroView participants or take a walk through the wine yards from the city center. It is a 2 km slow-paced walk which will take about 40 min.
Meeting point for both the bus departure and the walking tour is at the Würzburg Central Train Station.

Some members of our chair will be there waiting for you.
Participants who want to walk meet at 6:30 PM.
The busses will leave at 7:00 PM sharp.

Program
6.30-7.15 PM: walk through the wine yards to the castle (distance 2 km - about 40 min)
7.30 PM: sparkling wine reception with panoramic view
8:15 PM: formal dinner in the castle
(business casual dress code recommended)
After the social event
After the social event, you can go back to the city center by bus or take part in a torch-light walk ("Fackelwanderung") through the wine yards.
The busses will leave at about 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM.
Torch-light walk ("Fackelwanderung") departure is at 11:45 PM.
